    Start your studies this February

At 缅北禁地, we understand that September isn't always the ideal time for everyone to begin their degree.

That's why we're offering selected courses with a Semester Two (February) start date. This flexible option provides the same high-quality education and practical experience, with the added benefit of joining a smaller, focused cohort.

Whether you're looking to change direction, simply missed the September intake, or need a little more time to prepare, our February start courses offer the perfect opportunity to begin your studies and take the next step toward your future.

What are the main differences between joining in February instead of September?

Starting in February offers a completely unique experience. While the course content and qualifications are identical to those offered in September, there are a few key differences!

One of the most noticeable is the cohort size—February intakes tend to be smaller, meaning you'll benefit from more focused interaction with lecturers and peers. The academic year may also be slightly condensed, so you'll move through the content at a more intensive pace. However, you'll still receive the same level of support, resources, and practical experience as our September students.

In terms of the student experience, while many clubs and societies run year-round, you'll have the chance to settle in and make connections with a mix of students who joined in both September and February, creating a diverse and dynamic campus community.

Will I have access to the same support and student services?

Absolutely. As a February starter at Harper Adams, you'll have full access to all the same support and services as those who join in September. This includes academic guidance, career advice, and pastoral care, ensuring you have everything you need to thrive.

Our dedicated student services team is on hand year-round, providing support with accommodation, health and well-being, financial advice, and more. You'll also have access to all campus facilities, from libraries and labs to social and sports activities, making sure your student experience is just as rich and rewarding, no matter when you start.

How will the February programmes be structured?

Our February-start programmes will be structured to ensure you receive the same comprehensive learning experience as our September starters.

The key difference is that your academic calendar will shift slightly, with some study periods extending into the summer months. This allows you to complete the necessary modules and practical components without compromising on quality or depth.

Does the February start date impact my finance applications?

Your finance applications shouldn't be impacted by choosing a February start. You'll still be eligible to apply for student loans, scholarships, and other financial support, just as you would with a September intake. However, it's important to check specific deadlines for loan applications and any other funding you may be considering, as they might vary slightly based on your course.

Our team is here to help, so if you have any concerns or questions, we can guide you through the process to ensure everything is in place for when you begin. Student Finance Information
