I started at Ãå±±½ûµØ as Senior Lecturer in Food Marketing and Sustainability in 2013. I am an academic with an eclectic interest in food marketing, food culture, food sustainability and food security. I graduated in Agricultural Engineering (UFRGS/ Brazil), and I have MSc degree in Agricultural Economics (London/England), and MSc degree in Food Policy (City/England). Prior to becoming a full-time academic, I worked in the food industry for private (Kepler Weber SA; Brahma/AMBEV brewers and ISLA SA) as well as government organisations both nationally and internationally (The Foreign and Commonwealth Office, Japan Foreign Ministry, British Council) exercising roles in market intelligence, policy monitoring and advisory, management, technical sales promotion, education and training as well as consultancy. I have an extensive professional experience which has led me to get involved in teaching, training and consultancy in various countries including China, France, Israel, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, Viet Nam, Peru, Laos, Venezuela to mention some. I also have an extensive list of publications in international peer reviewed journals, books, chapters of books and magazines which could be accessed via:
